moe_moyashi claim to own Hayner. Or Kingdom Hearts II, for that matter.
In the computer simulated Twilight Town, he is good friends with Olette and Pence, and best friends with Roxas. Together, they have a rivalry going with Seifer's gang.
Due to boredom, Hayner suggests that they go to the beach. After an entire day of doing odd jobs, here and there, the group finally manages to make enough money. Alas, they never make it to the beach, since Roxas is pick pocketed and all of the well-earned money is lost in the process. Hayner and the others quickly forgive him, despite the fact that neither of the three saw what really happened.
When it comes time for the Struggle Tournament, Hayner loses to Roxas in the first round. Fortunately, Roxas ends up winning the Tournament, and the group splits the prize, just as promised.
